Control room management
Access a new generation of performant and standards-based control room management (CRM) graphic objects. These objects conform with API 1165 and ASM Consortium display-building guidelines.
Security
Security is built in from the ground up and heavily leverages Microsoft Active Directory to enforce the principals of least privilege and defense in depth through the use of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) from the Center for Internet Security (CIS) and Microsoft. When deployed as per the reference system architecture, it is fully compliant with the Purdue model.
Enterprise interface
Provides a number of secure interfaces to external enterprise systems that exchange data with the control system. Pipeline operators can receive flow nominations automatically from an external source, bring them into the control room for comparison to actual flows, and trigger alarms if the two differ beyond a designated amount.
Enterprise integration
Works seamlessly with our pipeline operations and integrity operations software, along with AVEVA™ PI System™ and CONNECT, AVEVA’s industrial intelligence platform, to ensure that controllers have real-world context for control room operations. This extends into the enterprise via an open interface through which pipeline operating data can move easily into data stores, ERPs, or other applications.
